Car on My Porch
04:54
|
|||
Throw the monkey wrench,
Into the gears.
Sad driver missing signs,
Young for his years.
Nothing but the frozen ground,
Left to mope around.
Another summer strips away,
Without a warning sound.
Through the window,
A flash of lightning,
That crashing sound,
Was really frightening.
The sleeper clings to his sheets,
Holding on to dreams.
Im still breathing,
But why is a car on my Porch?

Never Even Odds
05:12
|

Don't blame the dogs, don't blame beauty,
And what they did to you.
In the end you both broke even,
Realize you were just believing
In the night, in her eyes,
In the night, in her eyes,
In the night, in denial,
In the night, in denial.
Maybe it was chance,
Our hearts were caught in bad romance.
She said, ‘I don't believe in luck’
But I could never get enough.
And when she was gone,
I thought of the stars I had wished upon,
Not everyday one like us comes along.
Our memory past the sun it is hung,
It is hung.
Don't blame the dogs,
Don't blame beauty.
What did they do to you?
In the end you both broke even.
Realize you were just,
Believing.

Global Warming
02:27
|
|||
The world is going up in smoke,
Theres a fire spreading, think I might choke.
The sun is red and high,
Im only living one day at a time.
You go your way, and I’ll go mine.
It was sad we had to tear apart our time.
Tried to tell her, she talked for me.
We thought of destiny our world was warring.
Ancient wood kindles fire for man,
his lifetime is too great, too great for his own hands.

Deep Sea Diving
05:48
|
|||
Deep sea diving is a dangerous sport,
Go too deep and you might get hurt.
Only walls hide behind the mirrors,
The darkest depths are my greatest fears.
I went to sit, down by the sea,
I just don't know what to believe,
Waves crashing all around me,
Step back and let it breath.
Im in over my head,
Fearing this might be the end,
But its never too late to start again,
Let yourself drown, breath again.
Deep sea diving is a dangerous sport,
Go too deep and you might get hurt.
Only walls hiding behind the mirrors,
The darkest depths are our greatest fears.
I went to sit down by the sea,
I just don't know what to believe,
Waves crashing all around me,
Step back and let it breath.
